airBaltic plans to cut 500–700 jobs, or up to 23% of its workforce

The Latvian carrier has notified Latvia’s State Employment Agency of a planned collective redundancy affecting roughly 500–700 of its 3,000 employees across the Baltic states. The cuts are part of a restructuring following the airline’s Chapter 11 filing; airBaltic says its flight schedule will not be affected.
