Qantas scales back April–June domestic growth and shifts capacity toward Europe as Iran-driven fuel volatility bites
Qantas Group is reducing planned domestic capacity growth by five percentage points in the April–June quarter, cutting into expectations for year-on-year domestic capacity lift of 4% through June. The carrier is simultaneously adding more flights to Europe, citing rising jet-fuel and operating costs tied to the Iran conflict, with further U.S. and domestic adjustments including announced cancellations.
