FAA probes near-miss after Army Black Hawk crosses in front of United 737 at John Wayne

The FAA is investigating a near-miss at John Wayne Airport after a U.S. Army Black Hawk crossed in front of a United Airlines Boeing 737 on approach to Santa Ana, triggering a TCAS Resolution Advisory and a collision-avoidance alert; ATC audio captured controllers warning as the aircraft came dangerously close.
