Textron delivers first Cessna Citation Ascend as midsize jet enters service

Textron Aviation delivered the first Cessna Citation Ascend to a retail customer on Dec. 30, marking the midsize jet's entry into service after FAA type certification in November 2025. The Ascend features a new cockpit, improved performance and a flat‑floor, luxury cabin as the 560XL successor.
