Colombian Air Force C-130H crashes after takeoff near Puerto Leguízamo; at least 34 dead, dozens injured

A Colombian Air Force Lockheed Martin C-130H transport crashed shortly after takeoff from a remote airstrip near Puerto Leguízamo in Putumayo province on 23 March, with around 125 people aboard. Officials say the accident killed at least 34 people and injured dozens as rescuers searched the southern jungle.
