BETA Technologies and Sora Aviation advance eVTOL flight testing toward FAA- and service-ready operations

BETA Technologies completed its first multistate electric aircraft flights under the FAA’s eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP), supporting advanced air mobility operations in existing airspace. Separately, UK startup Sora Aviation says it has finished subscale S-1 eVTOL aircraft testing, targeting potential entry into service in 2031.
