Cathay Pacific and Malaysia Airlines disclose customer data exposure linked to Amadeus systems
Cathay Pacific said a security incident involving third-party provider Amadeus affected about 53,000 bookings. Malaysia Airlines separately warned that some customer information may have been affected by a cybersecurity incident involving the reservation-technology provider; the reports do not specify whether the two disclosures stem from the same unauthorized access.
