Air Canada appoints SAS CEO Anko van der Werff as next chief executive, effective early 2027, succeeding Michael Rousseau

Air Canada has named SAS chief Anko van der Werff as its next president and chief executive officer, with a start date in early 2027. He will succeed Michael Rousseau, whose tenure ends amid a French-language controversy following a “transformative” period at SAS.
