In parallel, SkyDrive signed a framework agreement for eVTOL/drone medical transport services in Taiwan. Vertical Aerospace joined Honeywell-led VERTI-GO to accelerate safe integration of electric aircraft into everyday European airspace.
Honeywell has positioned its new stand-alone structure around an organic growth approach, emphasizing flexibility to strategically deploy capital. The company’s public debut frames growth as the core priority while retaining options to adjust investment and deployment decisions as conditions change.
In remarks accompanying its spin-related transition to a newly independent structure, Honeywell Aerospace’s CEO said capital allocation will follow four tiers: organic growth, inorganic growth, dividends, and stock buybacks. The company intends to prioritize organic expansion but remains open to M&A as part of its growth toolkit.
Honeywell Aerospace opened Farnborough with an announcement of a major component deal with IndiGo to equip its incoming A320neo jets with Honeywell avionics and power systems. The agreement underscores the scale of aftermarket-style integration work extending into new-aircraft deliveries.

Honeywell Aerospace said IndiGo has selected its flagship avionics and power systems—plus full aftermarket support—to equip a record 810 Airbus A320neo-family aircraft order. Separately, Aeromexico plans to deploy Honeywell runway safety technology across more than 100 Boeing jets, while Hainan Airlines signed for 40 A320neo-family aircraft to expand domestic and regional flying.
Honeywell Aerospace is betting on non-GNSS navigation to maintain aircraft situational awareness during GNSS jamming, emphasizing performance during drone demonstration activities designed to test robustness. The approach focuses on resilience when GNSS signals are degraded or unavailable.
