Riyadh Air applies for US operating authority as Saudi carrier readies first international flights

Riyadh Air has formally applied to the U.S. Department of Transportation for permission to launch nonstop services to the United States. The move advances the new, 100%-sovereign-wealth-fund-owned carrier’s preparations for international operations ahead of the delivery of its first aircraft.
