Indonesia Air Transport ATR 42-500 (PK-THT) disappears over South Sulawesi; 11 onboard — ATR to support probe

On 17 January an Indonesia Air Transport ATR 42-500 (PK‑THT), operating a government fisheries‑surveillance charter, lost contact in Maros Regency while approaching Makassar and is reported to have crashed. Eleven people were onboard; large search-and-rescue operations are under way and ATR has offered technical support to investigators.
