American Airlines to Restore Seatback Screens and Expand Premium Seating Across 800+ Narrowbodies From 2028

American Airlines is reversing its 2017 move to remove seatback entertainment, adding 4K screens to more than 800 aircraft beginning in 2028. The cabin overhaul will also increase first-class and extra-legroom seating as the carrier seeks to attract higher-paying customers and narrow its profit gap with Delta and United.
