Air New Zealand has suspended its FY2026 earnings guidance after reporting a NZ$59 million loss in H1, blaming “unprecedented volatility” in global jet-fuel markets following the recent Middle East conflict escalation. The carrier said extreme fuel-price swings forced it to withdraw second-half profit forecasts set just weeks earlier.
