Separation of A319 reverser lining caused by hot air from open bleed valve

Serbian investigators examining the shedding of a large panel from an Airbus A319’s thrust-reverser believe hot air from an open bleed valve delaminated the internal lining and resulted in its separation.

FAA takes action in response to GEnx fuel pump issue and fire risk
