India rebukes aviation safety regulator for conflict-of-interest lapses

India has reprimanded its aviation safety watchdog after government documents reviewed by Reuters showed officials used their influence to help family members obtain jobs in the sector and failed to disclose such placements on a timely basis. The action also cites delays in properly revealing those appointments.
