Eutelsat has contracted Airbus to build 340 satellites to refresh and expand its OneWeb LEO broadband constellation, bringing its total OneWeb backlog to 440 spacecraft. Airbus will begin production in Toulouse from 2026 to replace aging units and extend network capacity.
