Russian Tu-22M3 bomber crashes during Siberia landing training; crew ejected after reported engine failure

A Russian Tu-22M3 strategic bomber crashed near Svirsk in the Irkutsk region during a training flight and landing procedure on June 15, 2026. All four crew members ejected safely before impact, with a Defense Ministry official stating there was no threat to pilots’ health. The crash followed reports of engine failure.
