JASDF F-15’s Main Landing Gear Collapses During Landing at Okinawa’s Naha Airport

A Japan Air Self-Defense Force F-15J suffered a main landing-gear collapse while landing at Naha Airport in Okinawa, skidding and turning 180 degrees before stopping with its left wing touching the runway. The incident temporarily closed one of the airport’s two commercial runways, while flights continued on the other.
