NEW HORIZON Act would let national security missions tap commercial orbital data centers

A bipartisan group of senators introduced the NEW HORIZON Act to enable national security missions to use commercial orbital data-center services. The bill is positioned to formalize how defense users can access the emerging “orbital data center” ecosystem as on-orbit compute and data hosting move from concept to procurement.
