Romanian F-16 fighters shot down two jet-powered drones about 20 kilometers southeast of Sulina after they entered Romanian airspace and flew over territorial waters. Romania’s Defense Ministry said the drones were from the Geran family, used extensively in Russia’s attacks on Ukraine, but did not identify their country of origin.
