Chilean KC-135 conducts first refuelling of U.S. F-35As en route to FIDAE 2026

A Chilean Air Force KC-135 tanker performed the first-ever aerial refuelling of two U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning IIs while en route to FIDAE 2026 in Santiago. The in‑flight service accompanied a larger U.S. contingent that includes an F-35 demo team, C-130, MQ-9 and P-8 assets.

BAE Systems test fires APKWS rockets from RAF Typhoon
