Mexico receives first Lockheed Martin C-130J-30; becomes Latin America's first C-130J operator

The Fuerza Aérea Mexicana has taken delivery of its first Lockheed Martin C-130J-30 Super Hercules, choosing the C-130J over Embraer's C-390 to reinforce its tactical transport fleet. The handover makes Mexico the first country in Latin America to operate the C-130J.
