Rheinmetall signs MoU with Vantor to integrate sovereign German ISR geospatial platforms into its command network

German defense contractor Rheinmetall has signed an MoU with US satellite imagery firm Vantor to integrate Vantor’s Tensorglobe geospatial platform and satellites into Rheinmetall’s command architecture. The deal is aimed at expanding Germany’s armed-forces intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities with “sovereign control” over technology.
