Boeing ramps Air Force One program spend as Q2 turnaround shows improving cash flow and record backlog
Boeing says it is investing “significant resources” to meet a 2028 delivery target for the next presidential aircraft, while reporting second-quarter progress on its commercial turnaround. Q2 revenue rose 8% to $24.6 billion on 171 commercial deliveries, free cash flow turned positive at $631 million, and total backlog climbed to a record $715 billion amid strong demand and new orders. The company still posted a net loss of $428 million.
