Boeing’s third-quarter loss narrows sharply, but commercial jetliner production and deliveries remain a drag

Boeing reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $24.2 billion, up 4%, and a net loss of $116 million, versus $5.3 billion a year earlier. But commercial-airplane losses widened as deliveries stagnated and spending rose to support production increases; the company’s total backlog reached $745 billion.
