USAF certifies probe-and-drogue refuelling for A-10 with new Probe Refueling Adapter

The US Air Force has certified a Probe Refueling Adapter that enables Fairchild Republic A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft to refuel via probe-and-drogue from Lockheed Martin C-130/HC-130 tankers. Developed to meet an urgent combatant command need, the change expands refuelling options while KC-46 interoperability remains pending.
