Canada expands Royal Canadian Air Force use of Airbus C295 for search and rescue

The Royal Canadian Air Force is rolling out new Airbus twin-turboprop transports to replace legacy search-and-rescue (SAR) aircraft. The service is also continuing to expand its use of the Airbus Defence & Space C295, reflecting a broader modernization of Canada’s SAR airlift capability.
