U.S. Army receives H-60Mx Black Hawk with Sikorsky MATRIX autonomy for ALIAS operational testing

DARPA has handed over an autonomously-capable H-60Mx Black Hawk, fitted with Sikorsky's MATRIX autonomy suite under the ALIAS program, to the U.S. Army. The optionally piloted aircraft—able to operate crewed, reduced-crew or fully autonomous—now enters advanced operational testing and evaluation.
