Israel's Ministry of Defense has contracted Elbit Systems for about $128–130 million to integrate command-and-control, avionics, electronic warfare and an advanced DIRCM anti‑missile system onto 12 Lockheed Martin CH‑53K Pereh heavy‑lift helicopters the country bought for $2.4 billion, tailoring the type to Israeli survivability and mission needs.
