Hubble Captures Nine-Ringed Galaxy Bullseye After Collision

The Hubble Space Telescope captured galaxy LEDA 1313424, known as the Bullseye, displaying nine rings from a collision with a smaller blue dwarf galaxy. Using data from Hubble and the W. M. Keck Observatory, astronomers identified more rings than ever observed in a galaxy collision.
