RAVE Aerospace defends miniLED LCD for in-flight entertainment despite OLED’s early Astrova momentum
RAVE Aerospace is sticking with miniLED LCD display technology for its in-flight entertainment strategy, even as Panasonic Avionics’ OLED-based Astrova IFE system—adopted in 2022—has demonstrated strong commercial traction. Standard OLED’s image characteristics are well-known, but RAVE says the miniLED LCD path remains the right fit for its product approach.
