U.S. ban on foreign UAS and parts will disrupt operators — but won’t instantly revive domestic makers
A new U.S. ban on foreign unmanned aircraft systems, parts and related systems will disrupt operators and supply chains across civil and defense users, forcing procurement and sustainment changes. The move, however, is unlikely to immediately produce a renaissance in U.S. UAS manufacturing capacity.
