Artemis II astronauts rehearse launch countdown, ride rewrapped 'Astrovan II' to pad

On Dec. 20, NASA's four Artemis II astronauts completed a launch‑day dress rehearsal—boarding Orion inside the Vehicle Assembly Building and riding a rewrapped Boeing Starliner 'Astrovan II' to the pad—to validate crew ingress, pad egress and ground‑team procedures ahead of the February lunar‑flyby mission.
