Roman Space Telescope to pierce Milky Way's dusty center — survey to find 100,000+ exoplanets

NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will use its Galactic Bulge Time-Domain Survey to pierce the heavy dust and stellar crowding of the Milky Way's center. The program is expected to detect more than 100,000 exoplanets and also reveal stars, black holes, neutron stars and rogue planets.
