Lockheed Martin turns to European partners to expand missile production capacity

Lockheed Martin has identified Germany’s Diehl as a potential partner for PAC-3 interceptor production serving Ukraine and Europe. Separately, the company and Italy’s Avio agreed to cooperate on solid-rocket motors, initially for the Extended Range Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System and Precision Strike Missile, as access to seekers emerges as another potential production constraint.
