UK picks seven industry partners for Project NYX to build Apache 'loyal wingman' helicopters

The UK Ministry of Defence has selected seven industry partners under Project NYX to develop autonomous "loyal wingman" helicopter drones to operate alongside the British Army’s Apache AH‑64E. The systems are intended to boost battlefield effectiveness while reducing risk to aircrew through manned–unmanned teaming.
