Italy fines Ryanair €255.8m for abusing market dominance by obstructing online travel agencies
Italy's competition authority (AGCM) on Dec. 23 fined Ryanair €255.8 million (≈$302m) for allegedly abusing its dominance by deliberately obstructing online travel agencies that rely on its flights. Ryanair said it will "immediately appeal" the AGCM's finding, which follows a probe into the carrier's commercial relations with travel agencies.
