Airbus shareholders and board confirm Amparo Moraleda as board chair from Oct. 2026, succeeding René Obermann

Airbus has named Spanish national Amparo Moraleda as chair of its board starting 1 October 2026, replacing René Obermann, who is stepping down from the role. The change follows Obermann’s decision not to seek reelection to the board at the 2027 AGM, after shareholders approved 2026 resolutions including renewals and a €3.20-per-share dividend for 2025.
