Boeing has started final assembly of the first 777-8 Freighter at its Everett, Washington plant, initiating the wing–body join and mating of the composite wings to the fuselage. The 777-8F uses 777X composite wings, GE9X engines and an updated cockpit, and will be the largest new freighter in Boeing's current offering.
