FAA completes phase one of NOTAM overhaul early, moves legacy US NOTAM System to the cloud

The FAA says Phase 1 of its Notices to Airmen (NOTAM) system overhaul is complete ahead of schedule, with DOT/Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy citing completion of upgrades to a 40-year-old pilot alerting framework. Duffy links the change to stronger safety, fewer nationwide airspace shutdown risks, and improved pilot communications; Phase 1 transition was expected to run until late 2027.

Boeing posts strongest first four-month order tally since 2014 as deliveries trail Airbus pace
