AirAsia X to be rebranded as AirAsia on 19 Jan 2026 as Capital A completes restructuring

AirAsia X (D7, Kuala Lumpur International) will be rebranded as AirAsia effective 19 January 2026, the carrier said, as parent Capital A enters the final stages of its corporate restructuring. The move consolidates the group's airline identity under the AirAsia name.
