ACI: Gulf conflict cuts Middle East airport schedules to 53%—up to $1B in lost revenues in Mar/Apr 2026

Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific & Middle East says nine major regional airports handled only 53% of pre-conflict schedules in March/April 2026 as the Gulf military conflict disrupted operations and revenues. ACI cites losses of as much as $1 billion (about €920 million) over Mar–Apr, while March passenger traffic remains comparatively resilient elsewhere in the region.
