El Al amends Boeing 787 order: $1.5B for up to 12 additional Dreamliners, including a shift to 787-10

El Al Israel Airlines has agreed to buy up to 12 more Boeing 787 Dreamliners in a $1.5 billion deal, amending its existing order to include the 787-10 after previously converting some 787-9 options upward. El Al says the change expands its long-haul fleet aimed at North America and Asia.
