A study co‑led by the University of Oxford finds global aviation CO2 could fall 50–75% by combining three measures: deploying only the most fuel‑efficient aircraft, maximizing passenger loads and removing premium seating for all‑economy layouts. Rapid redeployment of existing efficient jets could deliver an immediate ~11% cut.
