Birmingham Airport proposes £2 billion plan to reach 30 million passengers a year by 2041

Birmingham Airport has published a draft 15-year master plan outlining about £2 billion ($2.7 billion) in investment to expand capacity and upgrade infrastructure. The airport says the proposals could enable it to handle about 30 million passengers annually by 2041 and support job creation across the West Midlands.
