Southwest to end service at Chicago O'Hare (ORD) and Washington Dulles (IAD) on June 4, 2026

Southwest Airlines will discontinue all flights to and from Chicago O'Hare International (ORD) and Washington Dulles (IAD) effective June 4, 2026. Both airports are United hubs; the move removes one airport Southwest has served for 20 years and trims its presence in two major gateway markets.
