Lufthansa City Airlines opens Frankfurt base, launches A320neo operations from Feb. 9

Lufthansa City Airlines began flight operations from Frankfurt Airport, the group's largest hub, on 9 February 2026, launching services to Manchester, Berlin, Valencia, Düsseldorf and Málaga. The local fleet will expand to seven Airbus A320neo aircraft by September 2026, with additional summer destinations planned.
