Air Canada Express (operated by Jazz) collides with fire truck on landing at LaGuardia; cockpit torn off, two crew killed

An Air Canada Express regional jet (operated by Jazz), flight AC‑8646 from Montreal carrying 76 people, collided with a fire truck while landing at New York LaGuardia late Sunday. The pilot and co‑pilot were killed and the aircraft's nose was sheared off; LGA was closed as authorities opened an investigation.
