Qantas’ first A350-1000ULR for Project Sunrise has completed rollout from Airbus’s final assembly line in Toulouse, France, and is now configured with its twin Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines. A two-month flight-test programme is expected to start in coming weeks, moving nonstop Sydney–London and New York services closer ahead of the 2027 launch target.
