FAA and DOT break ground on V-PAR facility at Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center to advance vertical takeoff and landing procedur

The FAA and US Department of Transportation held a June 25 groundbreaking for the Vertical Take-Off and Landing Procedures and Analysis Range (V-PAR) at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City. The new facility is set to support advanced air mobility research, including development and analysis of VTOL procedures.

Fastjet says Solenta AOCs could aid West Africa push

By ch-aviation: Fastjet Group could use sister company Solenta Aviation's existing air operator certificates (AOCs) in Gabon and Côte d'Ivoire as a springboard for a future West African expansion, although no plans have yet been made, according to director of group strategy and development, Julian Edmunds.
