China Eastern commits to 25 Airbus A330neo widebodies in ~$9.4B deal, targeting 2029–33 deliveries

China Eastern Airlines has ordered 25 Airbus A330neo aircraft in a deal valued at about $9.35–$9.4 billion, expanding long-haul capacity out of Shanghai and modernizing its widebody fleet. Deliveries are scheduled in batches during 2029–2033, with planned first use from Shanghai Pudong on intercontinental routes.
