Qantas accelerates retirement of 10 Airbus A380s to 2028 as fleet renewal and transpacific demand rebound

Qantas will begin retiring its 10 Airbus A380s in 2028, four years earlier than previously planned, while older A330s start leaving this year. The airline is also discussing converting about 20 Boeing and Airbus purchase rights into firm orders from 2030 as Australia-U.S. demand rebounds.
