Bombardier Challenger 600 with eight aboard crashes on takeoff at Bangor International; FAA opens investigation

A Bombardier Challenger 600 carrying eight people crashed in flames during takeoff from Bangor International Airport Sunday evening amid a US snowstorm, officials said. The airport was closed and the FAA has opened an investigation; passengers' identities and the extent of casualties were not immediately released.
